Ina-Garten
Ina Garten has been a popular American cook book author for a number of seasons. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa, which started in 2002. Ina began working for the White House as a writer of documents on nuclear energy and also the budget. Ina initially enjoyed the intellectual challenge that came with her work, but she soon lost the interest. In her place, she purchased Barefoot Contessa, a specialty food shop. It took her 18 years to make the business extremely profitable prior to selling it and grabbing a pen to write her first book. Then, a number of books were released and she also contributed to magazine articles. Meanwhile her Food Network television show too began its run and was a hit. In addition, she sells all kinds of cooking equipment, items and even containers. Ina is not a student at any cookery schools or had a job in a restaurant. She she is completely self-taught. Her name is ascribed to her straightforward approach to cooking and effortless entertaining. Her most well-known recipes are Skillet-Roasted Lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
