Lisa Olivia Munn was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Her mother, Kimberly Schmid, lived in Vietnam, and is of Chinese origin, and her father, Winston Barrett Munn, is from a family with long-standing roots in The American South. Olivia's parents separated at age two. She grew up with her mother, who served with the United States Air Force, as well as her stepfather. While the family lived all over, her main home is Tokyo, Japan. In Japan, she was an actress at local theatre performances, and later became an Japanese fashion model. Olivia has relocated with her family to Los Angeles in order to achieve her dream of becoming an actor was determined to pursue that goal even after her family moved back to America.
