Hayley Orrantia, an American actor, singer, and songwriter. The most famous of her role includes Erica Goldberg who stars in "The Goldbergs," the comedy television show. She is, however, a music lover. According to her, is the first thing she enjoys. She started playing with the instrument at the age of nine. At the age 12, she took serious enough about music to start professional training. After some experimentation with writing songs, she recorded her first album of songs at age 14. From that moment on, she has not ever looked back. Orrantia is a native American who has Hispanic origins. She has Hispanic roots even though she spoke English when a young girl and her whole life was in the United States. Through studying Spanish and writing songs she tries to keep the culture alive. A song she has created is called 'Hasta Verte,' which she composed in Spanish. Orrantia performed for The X Factor during its debut season in the summer of 2011. Orrantia got the X Factor's four "yeses" to the panel of judges on the Seattle live auditions after having been selected from her YouTube video submission. Though she initially auditioned in a single performance at "Hollywood Week", she and three other female singers, were put into a group for the rest of auditions. The group was eliminated at conclusion of the fifth performance.
